This JOINT IS JUMPIN’ over at the Rubicon Theatre where “Fats” Waller’s hit show “Ain’t Misbehavin’” opening last night to a rousing applause and standing ovations. Happy I got a chance to put my own choreographic touch on this original jukebox musical celebrating one of my favorite moments in time, The Harlem Renaissance. The thought of being the first Black choreographer to set a Broadway piece on “So You Think You Can Dance”, still blows my mind. Carter, Beau, and Keaton KILLED my number tonight and that stage shone a little brighter tonight. Congratulations to all involved. Onward and upward!

Set your calendars for April 15th! Come Dance With Me premieres on CBS at 8pm. I will be choreographing a rountine or 2 every week for the show where a trained child dancer gets to compete with a parent against other kid/guardian duos for a grand prize at the end! More details to come!
